Have I Read My 2019 Anticipated Releases?

After a week or so’s unplanned hiatus, I am back with a post I was inspired to write after reading @SylviaReadsBooks‘s recent post. As the title suggests, it is all about my anticipated releases from last year and whether or not I have actually read them all.

I have 23 books altogether so before I jump in, why don’t we take a guess at how many I might have read? Keep that number in mind and see how close you are to the final total when we get to the end. The prize will be the self-assurance in knowing my particular reading habits!

Anyway, that’s enough rambling. Let’s jump right in.

Final totals:

βœ”οΈ Read – 5
πŸ“š Currently Reading – 1
❌ Not Read – 12
🌺 Temporarily Set Aside – 3
✳️ DNFed – 2

That total doesn’t surprise me at all! Also, apart from Red Scrolls of Magic, which I definitely won’t be reading, all the unread books are still on my TBR. The plan is to continue knocking that down book by book this year until I have at least a full bookcase where I can say “yes I have read all these books!”

What was your guess?
How many of these books have you read?

Have you read all your anticipated releases from last year?

Thanks for reading and have a brazzle dazzle day!

  1. I hope you’re enjoying The Starless Sea! It was one of my favorite books last year! It’s a little confusing but the imagery was so lovely! πŸ˜€

    1. Yeah I’m liking it so far, although I have only read about 50 or so pages. I have a feeling I’m going to really enjoy it
