Mini Book Scavenger Hunt Challenge

Welcome to the first collaborative post on this blog – the mini scavenger hunt challenge! I (Emma) wrote 5 questions and we both scrounged our bookshelves to find the books to fit all the questions. To make it doubly challenging we timed each other to see who could do it the quickest!

It was a lot of fun and we can’t wait to share the books we each chose so let’s get to it!

Sarah – The School of Good and Evil by Soman Chainani

Emma – The Exact Opposite of Okay by Laura Steven

Sarah – Pages & Co: Tilly and the Bookwanderers by Anna James

Emma has lots of books and when I’m looking at her shelves, I feel like I’m in a bookshop!

Emma – A Quiet Kind of Thunder by Sara Barnard

Similarly to Rhys, Sarah is always educating her Hearing friends to UK Deaf Culture and BSL. Also, just switch out Rhys for Sarah and the experiences would be fairly similar.

Sarah – Mary Poppins by PL Travers

Emma – Tangleweed and Brine by Dierdre Sullivan

Sarah – Fairest of All: A Tale of the Wicked Queen by Serena Valentino

Emma – The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli

Sarah – Heartstopper by Alice Oseman

Emma – Shadowscent: The Darkest Bloom by P.M Freestone

All of our books together:

Sarah – 2 minutes 10 seconds

Emma – 1 minute 57 seconds

Oh they were so close!

Like we said, this was such a fun challenge so we’ll have to try it again later on in the year to see if we can best these times! Our library of books will also be a bit bigger by then so there will be more books to choose from!

Thank you for joining us on this scavenger hunt and have a brazzle dazzle day!
