Additions to my Wishlist

When I am browsing the likes of Goodreads, Amazon, Waterstones or any online bookstore and I’m practising some well-needed restraint, my wishlist grows. I place books on there to purchase later on and when I come round to look at it at a later date, I find it more extensive than I originally perceived it to be.

Alongside buying a lot of books these past couples of months, I have also placed some on the said wishlist that I’m hoping I won’t forget about because, trust me, that happens.

I don’t know if I’ll end up getting them on Kindle or in their physical entity but I know that if I get them one way or another, I’ll be happy.

Anyway, what are some of the most recent additions?

Blackwing: The Raven's Mark Book One by [McDonald, Ed]Runemarks by [Harris, Joanne M]Shakespeare's Sonnets and Other Poems (Word Cloud Classics) by [Shakespeare, William]

Goblins of Bellwater by [Ringle, Molly]If There's No Tomorrow (HQ Young Adult eBook) by [Armentrout, Jennifer L.]

The Word Is Murder by [Horowitz, Anthony]The Silent Companions by [Purcell, Laura]

If I had a preference, I think I would want a book like Wild Beauty, The Goblins of Bellwater or The Silent Companions in paperback or hardback because the covers are stunning, and I would love to stare at them all day. We’re not supposed to care what the covers are like, but we all know they are what initially attracts us to a book and its subsequent purchase. Besides, there is no law about us wanting pretty-looking shelves.

Have you read any of these books?

What books have you recently added to your wishlist?

Thanks for reading and have a brazzle dazzle day!

  1. The Silent Companions is on my TBR. I’ve heard good things about it. Don’t know much about some of the others, but I love the covers for The Midnight Dance, The Goblins of Bellwater and Wild Beauty. I know I’m not supposed to judge books that way, but it happens…

    1. I’ve heard some good things about The SIlent Companions too. In terms of the others, I don’t really know much about them either. I did get a sampler for Blackwing in one of my FairyLoot boxes, which I have only skimmed, and I’m liking that kind of fantasy at the moment so it should be interesting.

And we are all suckers for the pretty covers!
