Songs That Raise My Spirits

For decades, Disney has been teaching us the power of dreams, not losing faith, carrying on even on the path of failure; that wishes live deep down in us and that we can never have too many.

There can be something said about this because for as long as I can remember, I have turned to Disney for my dose of motivational inspiration. And there is no question that I have been relying on it at the moment. Whether it is a film or piece of music, something about it manages to pull me out of the deepest black hole.

A few days ago when I was brooding about a lot of personal problems that have cropped up recently, I kept flicking through song after song on my iPod, not knowing what to listen to. It is obviously of no surprise to anyone that those I didn’t skip were songs and soundtracks that could help me feel a little happier.

So what were they?

Strong from Cinderella

Celebrate A Dream Come True from WDW

Try Everything from Zootopia

You Can Fly from Peter Pan

Seize The Day from Newsies

Everyday’s A Celebration from DLP

Starlit Princess Waltz from DLP

Every one of these has messages that remind me of strengths and wishes, and that there is always something to be positive about.

Songs and soundtracks like these are the best!

What are the songs you find motivational and uplifting?

Thanks for reading and have a brazzle dazzle day!

  1. THIS POST IS AMAZING! We love Disney and definitely listen to their movie soundtracks when we need a little positivist or motivation! One of our favorites is “I’ll Make A Man out of You” from Mulan!

    1. I can’t believe I forgot about that one! That was the song my housemates and I listened to on repeat when we pulled an all nighter for uni essays!
