New Series: Language Library

Hello!

As if my little corner of the internet world needs any more memes, series, and challenges to keep up with, I have created a new series for both the books and the Disney (mainly the Disney) that I am becoming quite excited by. I’m basing it on my other love for languages and calling it “Language Library” – although considering I’ve used it in the title for this post, it’s hardly a surprise!

Anyway, this is an idea I have been throwing around for a while now and I’ve never been certain on whether I wanted to do it or not. However, with the blog overhaul, I thought I would give it a shot. Languages have been a part of my life since I was really little, just like the books and Disney so it feels like an amalgamation of the three would work quite well. Not forgetting to mention that it might also motivate me to open the language boxes in my brain and use them once in a while.

So what I am thinking of doing, is looking at the varying translations for Disney titles. Maybe I’ll go even further and look at some characters too. Books will be featured but I am thinking of tagging it onto those featured on ‘Book Showcase’ so I am not doing some more than once.

Right now, I thought I would open it up to all you lovely readers.

What languages would you be interested in seeing?.

I have a few in mind but I don’t want to stick to the generic European languages that some of you might already be familiar with.

I’m actually quite excited where this goes!

So what do you think?
What languages, books and films deserve some recognition?

Thanks for reading and have a brazzle dazzle day!
xx

  1. This sounds like fun! I’ll look forward to seeing what you come up with! I only know two languages, English and Dutch (and maybe three if you add in my horrible knowledge of French), but Dutch would be fun 🙂
