July to December Hopefuls

From January to June, I have been making monthly TBRs that have either been stuck to, or left partially untouched. I am a mood reader by nature so sometimes having a TBR is not right for me, even if it is trying to help me read the books that have been sat on my shelves for ages.

For this reason I am not going to be making one from now on.

However, in my reading journal I have noted down some books that I do want to get around to reading by the end of the year. It’s not a TBR, and if I don’t read them then they can just roll over into the next few months or years and wait until I’m in the right mood for them.

These down below are just a select few because the list does keep getting longer with every book I remember.

I am actually thinking about reading some of these in July, so hopefully I will be in the mood for them.

And that will be that.

Have you read any of these books?
What do you think?

As always, thanks for reading and have a good day!
xx

  1. I have only read Rebel of the Sands & Three Dark Crowns from that list! Rebel of the Sands was my favourite read of last year and Traitor to the Throne, it’s sequel was my favourite book of this year until I read Strange the Dreamer haha. I also really enjoyed Three Dark Crowns, it takes a little to get into but I enjoyed it in the end!

      1. Yikes. I’m currently feeling like that with the next book in The Dark Artifices trilogy. That cliffhanger with Lord of Shadows has left me destroyed.

      2. Aww okay. I haven’t read it and I don’t know if I will get to it.
I wish I could as everyone loves the Dark Artifices and The Infernal Devices!
I have read the first two of The Mortal Instruments but didn’t love them so I haven’t continued. 😕

      3. If I had kept going when I started I probably would have been alright and got through it but I only owned the first two at the time and now I literally remember nothing that happened. 😩

    1. I did try reading it at one point last year but put it down because I wasn’t in the mood for it. I also didn’t read it at school like a lot of people do so I’m interested to see what it is like. I have seen the film though and I thought that was okay, albeit a little confusing.
