Books I’ll (Probably) Never Read Tag

Hello everyone!

I saw this tag over on Lia’s blog @ Lost in a Story and thought that it would be a good and fun way of showcasing those books that I don’t plan on ever reading.

So let’s get started:

1# A really hyped book you’re not interested in reading?

There are a few but Ready Player One by Ernest Cline is one that springs to mind. I’m not that interested in gaming and it doesn’t feel like a book I would enjoy.

2# A series you won’t start/won’t be finishing.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I could have used this for the first question as I never been bothered by this series at all, even when the films were being released. This series never appealed to me, even though I’ve liked a few of the YA Dystopians that I’ve previously read.

3# A classic that you’re just not interested in?

This is more of a modern classic but I’d go with The Life of Pi by Yan Martel.

4# Any genres you never read?

Erotica. Just no.

5# A book on your shelves you’ll probably never actually read?

As much as the blurb interests me, The Bone Clocks by David Mitchell is one book that I have failed to pick up and I’ve owned it now for a few years. I never seem to be in the mood for it and it is probably one that will stay there for a while.

And that is it for this tag. I have no idea who I want to tag, especially since I just did this on my own bat, so whoever likes and comments on this, consider yourself tagged.

Thanks for reading and have a good day!
xx

    1. Great answers. You’re also not missing anything by avoiding Wuthering Heights. Out of all the classics I’ve read, it is the worst!

    1. Yeah my best friend told me that she wasn’t too keen on them either. I don’t know what it is about them but I can’t ever see myself reading them, even though they are incredibly popular.
