Blogging Update

Hello, everyone.

You know, with running two blogs there is the easy tendency to slip and focus more on one than the other. I suppose that could just be the way it is for me at the moment in terms of this blog, but I want to try to plan and schedule posts so that they remain somewhat regular.

As of right now, my plan looks a little like this:

Monday – a choice of posts between discussion topics, wrap-ups, tbrs, and reviews

Wednesday – Top 5 Wednesday, a new series I’m calling Wednesday Words, Down the TBR Hole

Friday – a choice of posts between reviews, tbrs, tags, or a new ‘Spotlight’ series I’ve just started

Sunday – Standalone Sunday, ‘Spotlight,’ Monthly Recommendations, or Down the TBR Hole.

If I come up with any other ideas, I’ll work them in somehow.

I think more than anything, it will be a good way of helping me to stagger some of the same-style posts that crop up a lot. I like writing them but because I know I’m not the most imaginative or creative blogger, I do feel bored writing the same posts over and over again, and constantly seeing them on my recently posted tab doesn’t satisfy me as much as it should.

I suppose as well as outlining a schedule, this is a plea for any good post-related ideas because all the ones I do think of are quite common in the book blogging community, and I don’t want to fall into the trap of doing the same thing as everyone else.

Enough rambling for now, that is me done.

Thanks for reading and have a good day.
xx
