T5W – Books to Finally Read in 2017

Hi everyone and welcome back to Top 5 Wednesday. This is a weekly Goodreads challenge run by Sam over at Thoughts on Tomes and a great way of finding new books and talking about books in general.

Today’s topic is books we want to finally read in 2017 and I’ll say straight off that there are a ton of books I can list for this. At the top of my head I can think of nearly 15 books that I should have read this year and have just been putting off for one reason or another. However I have managed to narrow that down to 5.

So in no particular order, they are:

Have you read any of these?
What do you think?
What books do you finally want to read next year?

  1. I almost included Three Dark Crowns on my list this week but decided not to. I’m definitely still going to try to read it during 2017 though! I’d love to get to Passenger next year too 🙂

  2. I really want to read 3 Dark Crowns! I have it on my bookshelf to read right after I’m done Six of Crows

  3. I would definitely recommend The Queen of the Tearling; I found it immensely readable and so much deeper than its initial story seems! I too have been meaning to read Three Dark Crowns – I hear nothing but good things about it, so I’ll have to get to it in 2017.

    1. It is one I’ve been meaning to read for a while. I think I did start it at one point but for some reason moved onto a different book before I could really get into it. I do want to read it though because I’m sure I will like it.

    1. I got the whole trilogy in paperback last Christmas so I feel bad not having read it yet. My best friend loves this trilogy too and as we have similar tastes in books, I know I’ll enjoy them a lot as well.
