Disney Parade Soundtracks

I’ve been listening to a lot of Disney music at the moment, particularly soundtracks and songs from the parks, and I find that more so than any other piece of music, the parade soundtracks are what take me back to those fantastic memories of being in Disneyland Paris, and also help me to experience some of the magic of Disneyland and Walt Disney World from my own home. I know it’s not the same but I still get taken away by the music and placed in that colourful, fantasy, inspirational world that Disney loves to create and inhabit.

So here I would like to share with you some of the soundtracks that I have come to love and listen to on an almost daily basis.

Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade from Walt Disney World

I’ve always liked this soundtrack and listened to it when I played my youtube parks playlist but it’s only been within the last week or so that I’ve been replaying this a lot. I think it might have something to do with another video I found of two WDW ASL interpreters translating the music for the entire parade for Deaf/Hard of Hearing guests. It just makes it more special, knowing that it’s being made accessible for everybody.

Soundsational Parade from Disneyland

I can’t remember how I first heard this music but I do remember playing along to it on the Xbox Kinetic Disneyland Adventures game. We could conduct the music for the parade and make all the floats come to life. My sister and I loved it. Whenever I hear the music now, I have to get up out of my seat and let myself believe I’m there in Disneyland. It’s such a chirpy, happy go lucky soundtrack that makes you fall in love with some of the more popular Disney tunes.

Dancin’ (A Catchy Rhythm)  – Wonderful World of Disney Parade at Disneyland Paris

This was the first parade music I ever heard and I’ve loved it ever since. It is catchy, you want to sing it all day long, and listen to it over and over again. It reminds me of that first trip to DLP back in 2005 and being amongst all that magic and wonder of a Disney park. I can remember constantly having it in my head and singing it at home for weeks afterwards. It’s also been my go to ringtone for the last ten years or so.

Just Like We Dreamed It – Once Upon A Dream Parade at Disneyland Paris.

Dreams, stories, magic… it’s everything you want in a Disney song and it’s here in this soundtrack. I love the parade and this music, and both go incredibly well together. The year of the 15th anniversary and it’s extended celebrations were fantastic to experience, and so I always revisit those memories whenever I listen to this.

Parade of Dreams from Disneyland

What I love about this soundtrack is that it uses Welcome from Brother Bear as the front running song. It’s about inclusion, family, celebration, happiness, and that is what Disney and Disneyland brought to all of us. For me it is one of the most perfect Disney park soundtracks and it was exactly the right piece of music to use for Disneyland’s 50th anniversary.

Fantillusion from Disneyland Paris

This is the only nighttime parade I’ve ever experienced, and whilst the Main Street Electrical Parade brings out the classic Disney memories for a lot of people, this is what Fantillusion does for me. I close my eyes to really listen to this music and it just sounds like the parade runs on the magic and pixie dust. I also like the mix of the original music with some of Disney’s other instrumental pieces of film score.

Honourable mentions:

  • Main Street Electrical Parade – any Disney park
  • Spectromagic – Walt Disney World
  • Festival of Fantasy – Walt Disney World
  • Tapestry of Dreams – Epcot
  • Do You Believe – Disneyland Paris
  • All Around the World – Disneyland Paris
  • Magic Everywhere – Disneyland Paris.
  • Tous en Train – Disneyland Paris

There we have it. Some of my favourite parade soundtracks, including honourable mentions.

Are your favourites included? If not what are they and I’ll see if I can go and check them out!

Thanks for reading and have a brazzle dazzle day!
